Ananya Rao is an undergraduate student at American University studying Communications, Legal Institutions, Economics, and Government (CLEG) with a minor in Computer Science. She currently serves as a Women and Foreign Policy Intern at the Council on Foreign Relations, where she researches Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) policy, global gender-based violence, and international security. In the past, she has interned with the Office of Congresswoman Teresa Leger Fernández. Her academic interests include gender and politics, economic policy, and technology policy.
