Anna Nakaya
PhD Student, Department of Political Science
Anna is a first-year PhD student focusing on American and Comparative politics. She studies political behavior and public opinion using field and survey experiments, with elements of observational or qualitative analysis included occasionally. She is particularly interested in gendered and religious political norms in developed democracies, especially Japan. Before joining Yale, she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Philosophy from Brigham Young University.
