Eileen McDonagh is Professor of Political Science at Northeastern University. She has written extensively on gender and political issues from institutional and historical perspectives. She is the author of several books, including The Motherless State: Women’s Political Leadership and American Democracy. She is currently completing a book with co-author, Dr. Sparsha Saha, to be titled, Dressing For Sex: What Clothes Reveal.
