Mirya R. Holman, PhD is an Associate Professor of political science at Tulane University. She is the author of Women in Politics in the American City (Temple University Press 2015) and a wide variety of academic articles. Her current research projects include investigations of gender and children’s political socialization, local appointed boards and commissions, and understanding the political consequences of the MeToo movement.
