Viva de Vicq is a Senior Director at Breakthrough Campaigns specializing in the creative application of qualitative and quantitative primary research to empower political candidates, corporations, and non-profits to shape their ideas into thoughtful data-driven strategies.
Her extensive political experience includes spearheading research for campaigns at every level, from local school board to congressional and statewide races. In the last election cycle, Viva led comprehensive polling for a prominent Senate campaign in California. She has worked on congressional campaigns across the country in every cycle since 2020, including in California, Utah, Montana, Kansas, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, and Oregon.
Beyond her significant campaign work, Viva has also contributed to various ballot initiatives addressing a range of public policy issues. Notably, she managed research efforts related to reproductive rights in Arizona, voting rights in Michigan, and Medicaid access in South Dakota and Missouri. Additionally, Viva has conducted narrative research in New Hampshire, New Mexico, and Wyoming, focusing on refining messaging strategies for organizations across those states.
Originally from New York, Viva graduated cum laude from the University of Southern California with a bachelor’s degree in political science.
