Cheryl Jacobs Crim, director of Resisterhood, is an independent filmmaker who has been creating compelling work for television and film for three decades. She has produced, directed and edited numerous television specials and documentaries and has won dozens of regional, national and international awards including two Silver Telly Awards, a Gold Medal from the NY Film Festival and “Best of Show” from the Houston International Film Festival. She also has received 12 Regional Emmy’s for Outstanding Specials and Documentaries including two for Individual Achievement in Directing and Editing. Crim currently resides in Maryland, but her career has brought her to the Midwest, the East Coast, and Europe.
