Gender at the Arkansas Primary

Joe Biden received almost double the number of votes than his closest competitor in the Arkansas Democratic Primary.  The former Vice President won with 40% of the vote, well ahead of Bernie Sanders with 22%, Mike Bloomberg with 17%, and Elizabeth Warren with 10%.   All told, Biden won every county, except for Fayetteville, home of the University of Arkansas and its younger, more progressive voters.

What do we know about the women of Arkansas who voted in the Democratic primary on Super Tuesday?  Well, the short answer is, not much as exit polling was not conducted in Arkansas or Utah on March 3rd.

In the Republican Primary, President Trump received 97% of the vote and former Massachusetts Governor Bill Weld received 2% of the vote. There is no exit poll data available on the Republican side as well.
